Hi, I’m Kris! I’ve been an empty nester for a while now and have a little extra time on my hands  (translation: my kids grew up and don’t need me anymore 😢🙄😂). I’m married to my amazing husband, Jeff, and together we have a blended family of three kids (plus two cats who think they run the house 🐾. Well, actually they do 🤭). When we’re not working, you can usually find us out taking walks or hiking in the mountains behind our house, or enjoying the simple things ~ like cozying up on the couch with a good movie or hanging out with our kids and friends. One day, we dream of hitting the road in an RV and traveling cross-country!

From the time I was little, I was drawn to creativity. I’ve always loved making things ~ whether it’s gifts for family, friends, or just because I got a wild idea and had to try it 🤪. I loved to decorate the house for every holiday or special occasion ~ so much so that I’m pretty sure it drove my mom a little crazy (but in the best way 😂). I threw myself into cake decorating for birthdays and weddings, painting giant Christmas cutouts for our yard (think Santa, snowmen, gingerbread men, and lollipops!), throwing birthday parties for my two younger sisters, turning my bedroom into a haunted house for the neighborhood kids, and figuring out Christmas songs on the piano by ear (another one my mom probably loved 🙄😂). 

A constant theme throughout my life has always been my love and desire to create moments that make people feel celebrated and loved. One of my favorite memories was planning a huge scavenger hunt for my mom’s 50th birthday that ended with her discovering she was going on a surprise trip to San Francisco with her two best friends 💕✨!

That love of making celebrations special has carried through to my own family. I so enjoyed planning and creating to make my kids feel special and loved when they were growing up. And I still do ~ even though they’re adults now and probably prefer that I don’t 😏! But it’s ok because now I get to pour that same joy, creativity, and love into everything I design ~ whether it’s an ornament, cake topper, or a special keepsake ~ so that your celebrations feel meaningful, memorable and treasured forever.

I named this shop after my kids ~ Savannah and Lane ~ because they’re still my best creations 💗💗. Even though they're adults now, they’ll always be my babies, just like this shop has now become.

If you ever wonder what goes into making your keepsake, picture this: me with coffee ☕, my cats supervising 🐾, and Little House on the Prairie running on repeat in the background. Those who know me aren’t even surprised ~ it’s basically my personality at this point, haha! And if you’ve noticed I sprinkle emojis everywhere… guilty! 🙋‍♀️ It may be outdated, but hey, it’s me. 💕
