For the best engraving result:

• Use clean, plain white paper without lines
• Use a black marker with clear, bold strokes
• Avoid pencils, crayons, colored markers, and faint pens
• Photograph the paper straight on in bright, even lighting
• Avoid shadows, wrinkles, and blurry images
• Make sure the complete message is visible in one photo

Minor adjustments may be made to clean up the image for engraving, but the personality and character of your child’s handwriting will be preserved.
